Cell seeding for 2D and 3D cell cultures is often done manually with multipipettes or by a highly specialized automation solution.
Blue®Washer equipped with dedicated dispenser technology can be used for cell seeding. Protocols have been developed for sterilizing the inner surfaces of tubing and other relevant parts of the fluidic system for spheroid culture in low attachment plates followed by automated cell seeding using Blue®Washer. This is a reliable way to set up large numbers of plates with identical characteristics.
